Judy Hubbard, 72, passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Bean Station after an extended illness.
She may be gone from this side of heaven, but as we know, to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord. Judy gave her life to Christ at her home several years ago, and her faith remained strong until the very end. Those who truly knew Judy know that her passion was the beauty and health industry — she loved all things beauty and hair and took pride in helping others look and feel their best.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Agee and Juanita and Doyle Brooks, and by her beloved son, Derek Hubbard.
Judy leaves behind her son, Travis (Leslie) Agee; her grandson, TJ Agee; granddaughter, Emily (Peyton) Seals; and great-granddaughter, Haven Seals — all of whom she loved deeply. She is also survived by her brother, David Pearson; sisters, Johnnie Grimes, Jennifer Alsup, and EddaSue Elkins; and her aunts, Sylvia Sergent and Paula Maples.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her sister EddaSue and cousin Debbie Maples Cox for all of their help until her passing and to Amedisys Health Systems.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.
Allen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
