Judy Louise (Dawson) Long, age 73, gained her angel wings and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 17, 2025.
Judy was saved at an early age at Power House Baptist Church. She later moved her letter to Riverview Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. Mark 12: 43-44, “And he called unto his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury. For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast into all She had, even all her living.”
That was Judy especially when it came to her family and her children and grandchildren, she gave all she had especially her LOVE. She would always say, “I’m a winner either way if I go or if I stay.” She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was the kindest loving soul. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, David Hugh Long; parents, Greg and Mildred Dawson; brothers, Charles and Mike Dawson; sisters, Barbara Rose and infant Edith Dawson.
She is survived by her children, Dawn (Randy) Epperson of Washburn, Jason (Jennifer) Long of Bean Station and Amanda Long Young of the home; two grandchildren, Madison and Isabelle Long of Bean Station; Step granddaughter, Lea (Kevin) Atkins; step great grandchildren, Blake and Conner Atkins all of Washburn; Sister, Debra (Ron) Wolfe of Bean Station; brothers, Ricky (Donna) Dawson of Bean Station J.L.
