Judy Ann McGee (Oliver), 59, a devoted servant of the Lord, was called to her eternal home on June 15, 2024, in Mohawk, Tennessee. She was born on August 21, 1964, in the same humble town where she would live a life full of grace and service.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, George McGee; uncle, George Mays; and a few close cousins. She leaves behind two sons, Roy (Shana) McGee and Paul Oliver; and her mother, Nellie McGee.
A beacon of God’s love, Judy shone with the light of her faith, touching lives with her humble demeanor and a heart that saw the divine in every aspect of creation. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing the fellowship found in yard selling and embracing the community of Crossroad Baptist Church. Her life, a testament to the virtues of humility and gratitude, was a constant reminder of the respect we owe to all of God’s handiwork. Judy walked this earth with a gentle spirit, lifting the spirits of those around her and leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion.
A service to celebrate Judy’s life and her journey to be with our Heavenly Father will be held at Allen Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 7PM. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 5PM- 7PM. In this gathering, her spirit will be honored through the prayers and reflections led by Pastor Brandon Hord and Pastor Fletcher Porter. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Gulley Cemetery in Bulls Gap, TN.
In memory of Judy, and to continue her legacy of helping others, donations may be offered to Fountain of Hope Ministries. This faith-based recovery program embodies the values Judy held dear by providing support to those in need without burden.
As we bid farewell to Judy Ann McGee, let us hold her memory close, finding comfort in our faith and the assurance that she now rests in peace with our Creator. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to have felt the warmth of her kindness and the strength of her faith.
