Katherine Murrell Long

Katherine M. Long, 74, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at her home in Morristown.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Edna Mae Long; daughter, Rhonda Ferguson; brothers and sisters, Ben Long, Betty Lane, Rena Jinks, Dot Ledford, Jay Long and Ronnie Long.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Parker, Vicky Knight, Hope Parker, and Ronnie Turner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marynelle Rines, Joe Neal Long, Jim Long, Buck Long, Evelyn Smith and Velma Parker; a number of special nieces and nephews; special friends, Rena Hilbert, Tina Gulley and Carolyn Smith; special caregivers, Veronica Grier, Shaunda Conley and Christy Trent Bledsoe.

Graveside services are planned for 2:00 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Bethesda Cemetery with Reverend Ronnie Trent officiating.

Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
