Larkin Thomas “L.T.” Livesay Sr., 77, went to be with the Lord and his wife on September 6, 2020 at his home in Morristown, surrounded by family. He was a member of Gap’s Chapel Baptist Church in Sneedville, Tn., and was a self-employed carpenter, cabinet maker, and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 55 years, Janice Livesay; great-granddaughter, Hadley Ann Beck-Young; parents Steve and Buna Livesay; sisters, Dorothy Nichols, Margaret Lawson, Beatrice Wilson, and Mary Jane Nichols; brothers, Chester and Burkett Livesay; infant siblings, A.R. and A.B. Livesay, Morris, Eugene and Robert Livesay.
Survivors include his son, Larkin T. (Debbie) Livesay, Jr.; daughter, Lori (Carl) Caughorn; grandchildren, Chelsea (James) Klaserner, Haley (Steven) Beck; Caley (Johnny) Beck, Ryan (Hope) Beck; Sienna Livesay and Larkin T. Livesay, III; nine precious great-grandchildren; special brothers-in-law, Roger (June) Wilson, Edward (Vivian) Wilson, and Alfred Wilson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30, Thursday, September 10, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19, a private service will be held at 7:30, with Reverend George Miller, Bo Riley and James Klaserner officiating. Graveside services are planned for 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
