LeRoy Parsons, Jr. of Rogersville, originally from North Philadelphia, PA was born September 25, 1930 and passed away May 2, 2020. He was the son of the late LeRoy, Sr. and Anita Parsons. LeRoy was a multifaceted man; his journey in life took him to the Coastguard for 3 years as a cook from 1949 – 1951. After the service, he then married his loving wife Carole who also recently passed. Rest in peace mom.

LeRoy leaves behind his children whom he also loved greatly; son, Mark Parsons; daughters, Bonnie Langdon, Joanne Parra and Amy Parsons; three grandchildren, Justin, Christopher and Melissa. Aside from his family, he loved hunting, fishing, boating and woodworking throughout his years.

LeRoy will now rest in peace with his true love of 63 years. He will be greatly missed.
