Lester Lee Johnson

Lester Johnson, age 87, of Bean Station, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022.  He was saved at an early age and was a member of Adriel Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Tyler, and Mussie Belcher Johnson; brothers, Ray, Hugh Kyle, and Donnie Johnson; and Sister, Argelene Sizemore.  

Survivors include his wife, of 62 years, Thelma Joyce Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Rodney Overbay, all of Bean Station; sister-in-law, Faye Johnson of Lancaster, SC; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services will be held 3:30 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Hamblen Memory Gardens with the Revs. Jim Fields and Bill Johnson officiating.
