Lillian Ann (Day) Collins. "Mama 2"

Lillian Ann “Mama 2” Day Grisham Collins of Clinton, TN, formerly of Morristown, passed away December 27, 2021, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital.  Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hallie Day; son, Thomas Anthony Collins; grandson, Evan Chase Collins; son-in-law, A1C John Edward Graham; stepson, Ricky Scott Grisham; brother, Roy Gene Garland; sister-in-law, Mary Garland; twin brother, William Dan Day; sisters, Alice Victoria and Thelma Wilma Day; nephew, Jerry Garland; special aunt and uncle, Hope and Preston Carmony and her beloved dog, Gizmo.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Melesia Gail Grisham Graham of Clinton, TN; grandsons, Markus Anthony Scott (Rebekah) Graham of Louisville, TN and Brandon Paul Logan Graham of Clinton, TN; great granddaughter, Mykah Riley Graham; adopted family, Michael Keith Ivey, Kelsey and Chris Franklin, Andrea Stuck; nephew, Greg (Chris) Garland; niece, Jean Murphy; grand nephews and nieces; Che’ (Nikki) Garland, Kurgan, Kyrie and Nikolas; Nelia Koontz, Zachary (Alieja), Maia, and Katie; Shelby Kirkpatrick, Ian and Hailey; special cousin, Joanne Runions, and dedicated friend, Jan Ratcliff.  Lillian is also survived by her furry companions; Callie, Ayra, Luna, Amelia, Zoe’, Vader and Little Bit.

“Mama 2” was strong and fierce in her faith and her devotion to her family and friends.  While we will feel the loss of this extraordinary woman, Heaven rejoices at her arrival.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter in Lillian's name.
