Lindsay Stubblefield Gordon, age 40, passed away suddenly August 10, 2023, after a short illness. She was a juvenile diabetic since the age of 14 and was very interested in the search for a cure for the disease. She was saved some years ago at a revival service. Lindsay loved her family and friends, and she had a love of life itself.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wendell Earl Stubblefield, Fred and Maxie Gordon; and father-in-law Harley (Tony) Gordon.
Lindsay is survived by her husband, Ben Gordon of the home; daughter, Molly Gordon (Jordan Cockrum) of Cookeville; son, Will Gordon (Alana Winstead) of Morristown; parents, Terri and Dan Crum; brother, Zack Hancock, all of White Pine; grandmother, Florence Stubblefield of Morristown; brother-in-law, Brad (Mandy) and family; nephews, Austin (Erika) Gordon, and Neyland Gordon, all of Morristown; mother-in-law, Kathy Gordon; special friend, Larry Calfee, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be a celebration of Lindsay’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research for the Cure of Juvenile Diabetes, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
