Lois Wicke

Lois Wicke, 72, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on  Monday, March 27, 2023, at her home.  She retired from General Motors after 23 years of service. Lois was of the Baptist faith and attended First Christian Church in Morristown.  She enjoyed singing in the church choir and participating in the Passion Play at Mount Hope Church in her hometown of Lansing, Michigan before moving to Morristown.

Lois was preceded in death by her son, Stacey Shirl Leathers, parents, and many brothers and sisters.   She was a beloved mother to Lorie (John) Hunt, Jr, Tamara Leathers and granddaughter, Tabitha Hunt, as well as several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Chaplain Garland Long officiating.   Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
