Lola M. (Short) Dalton

Lola Dalton,103, born August 2, 1916 passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a member of Barnard’s Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Dalton; two sons, Richard and L.C. Dalton; two daughters, Mabel and Eva Lane.

She is survived by sons, Howard and Lonas Dalton of Morristown; daughters, Ellen Long and Joy (Ronnie) Morgan of Rutledge; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for 7:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 prior to the services. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Meek’s Cemetery in Bean Station.
