Louis Carter Obituary

Louis Willard Carter, 78, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home in Morristown. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Morristown. He retired from MAHLE after over 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Monnie Carter.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amy (Lester Gentry) Carter, Kelley (Tim) Smyth; grandchildren, Ashley Murphy, Ryan (Jessica) Phillips, Haley Tipton, Jesse Tipton; great-grandchildren, Daelyn Murphy, Tony Jackson, Olivia Phillips and Rocky Stokes; his brother Paul Carter and wife Louise, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Jarnigan Cemetery with Reverend Timothy Bray officiating.
