Lucille Looney

Lucille Looney, 88, of Morristown passed away on September 18, 2023. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a Charter member of the Moose Lodge 1486. She was retired from Lakeway Regional Hospital and Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.

She was proceeded in death by husband, Carl Looney; father and mother, Robert and Hazel Phipps; brother, Henry Neal; sisters, Janice Cook and Inez Wilson; grandson, Frankie Lee Jolly Jr.; and son-in-law, James Cross.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Cross; son, Robert (Alicia) Carson; grandchildren, Jesse Carson, Becky (Jessy) Garrett, and Chris (Regina) Jolly; great grandchildren, Krista Jolly and Avacyn Garret; brothers, Jerry and Dennis Phipps; and sister, Georgia Shanks.

Private graveside services were held at Bethesda Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21,2023.
