Lucy “Randy” Nolan, 78, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home in Morristown after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a longtime member of Mt. Airy United Methodist Church. During her professional career, she worked with Dr. Ken Allum until his retirement and went on to work with Healthstar Physicians until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; Pate and Ruth Clayton; brother, Carroll Clayton; sisters, Geneva Webb, Inez Floyd and Shirley Gillreth.
Lucy leaves her husband of 60 years, Walter “Mac” Nolan; son, Robbie C. (Melanie) Nolan; grandchildren, Jacob Nolan, Brittany (Patrick) Williams, Cara (Paul) McMahan, Alysa (Tyler) Chambers, Rachel (Seth) Nolan, Noah Nolan and Isaiah Nolan; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00pm Friday, March 19, 2021 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. The family will proceed to Mt. Airy United Methodist Church Cemetery for a committal service at 4:30pm.
All in attendance are required to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.
