Marie (Kinley) Drinnon

Marie (Kinley) Drinnon, 90, of Whitesburg, TN passed away on August 4, 2022, one week before her 91st birthday. She was a member of Three Springs Baptist Church of Whitesburg where she played the piano for many years. 

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, G.C. (George) Drinnon, Jr., parents Katherine (Creech) and Ira Kinley, brother Charles W. (Bud) Kinley.

She is survived by her daughter Katherine Chaney, Knoxville, sons- Dale (Sarah) Drinnon, United Kingdom, George (Missy) Drinnon III, Knoxville, grandchildren- Georgia Marie Drinnon, Ryan (Montana) Pickett, Adam Massie and Abbey Massie, Knoxville, nephew- Charles Kinley, Jr, niece Mary Drinnon of Morristown. Marie is also survived by several cousins and special friends- Rose Marie Brummitt, Diana Lane of Morristown, and Beverly Hawks of Knoxville and the many friends from the community and her church family. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Prosperity Pointe for the love and care they provided Marie during her time there.

In lieu of flowers, Marie requested that donations be made to Three Springs Baptist Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or Shriners.

A memorial service will be held at Allen Funeral Home on August 25, 2022. The family will receive friends from 6-7 with a service following at 7.
