Martha Loretta (Roark) Dyer

Martha "Marthee" Roark Dyer, 83 of White Pine TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Friday Morning August 15th with her husband Kyle and toy poodle “Little Bit” by her side. "Marthee", as her daddy called her was a “Daddy's girl” from the very beginning, staying right by his side, working day in and day out keeping every step with him.  Whether it was milking cows, bailing hay, chopping wood or anything else for as long as it took and as long as he lived. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Harrison Roark and mother, Hazel Smith Roark along with several unborn children; sister Pearl, and brother Danny. As she frequently stated, "The greatest people she has ever known were Mr. & Mrs. Joe Samples."

She leaves behind her husband Kyle Bedford Dyer and toy poodle “Little Bit”; very special niece, Kathy (William) Berry; sisters, Lorainne, Flossie, Shirley and Bonnie; brother, Robert; sister-in-law, Linda Fawver; niece, Loretta (Buddy) Hawk; a young group of kids, some of which are now adults, that she made into her very own many years ago one at a time, Bridgette, Karlee, Carissa, Alex, Drew, Hattie, Dew & Elbert.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Reverend Ricky Gilliam officiating.  Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulls Gap, TN.
