Marty Robert West

Marty Robert West, age 63, of Mooresburg, went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2025, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare Systems.

Marty was a member of Valley View Missionary Baptist Church and was known for his love of the outdoors. Marty’s life was built around faith, family, and the fellowship of friends.  He was a man who valued simple pleasures and found joy in hunting, fishing, and working the land. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maine and Rose Mae Hatfield West.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay West; daughter, Shirley (Andy) Pyne; grandchildren, Kyle Wolfe, Ethan (Whitney) Pine, Lola (Chase) Reno, and Bentley Pyne; his brother, Gary West; and two special cousins, Shirley Horton and Kenny Lane.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Valley View Missionary Baptist Church, with Preacher Randy Brooks officiating. 

The family asks that donations be made to Allen Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
