Marvin L. Singleton, 82, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was a member of Slate Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Mooresburg, TN. He retired from Anchor Brush in Morristown after several years of service. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Minnie Singleton; sons, Randy and Jeff Singleton; daughter-in-law, Vicky Singleton; brother-in-law, Charles Black; mother and father-in-law Charlene and Hazel Smith; sister-in-law, Wanda Reed; brother and sister-in-law, Reverend Charles and Joy Smith; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Singleton.
Survivors include his wife, of 63 years, Maxine Smith Singleton; sons, Marty Singleton and Mike Singleton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Black; several nieces and nephews; and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral. A funeral service will follow at 7pm with Reverend Danny Lamb and Reverend Dannie Bell officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of ones choice.
