Mary Drucilla "Drue" Maddox

Mary Drucilla “Drue” Maddox, age 76, passed away Thursday May 10, 2018 at NHC Place Sumner.  Drue was born in Jefferson County, TN to Raymond “Tippy” and Inez (Davis) Barlow.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Maddox. 

She is survived by her son, Tad Maddox; daughter, Tippi Lynn (Alan) Whitehead; grandchildren, Alexa Springsteen in Lansing, MI and Bradley Maddox in Leeds, AL; daughters in-law Joanne Springsteen and Samantha Maddox.

Our Drue, our Momma, our Nana…we were so blessed to have been loved by this special lady, with the dark sparkling eyes. Her love lives within each of us, as we carry her in our hearts, forever.

Viewing times for friends and family in Hendersonville will be from 3:00 -  t 7:00 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home in Morristown, Tn.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Tieke Cemetery in Bulls Gap, Tn.
