Mary Lou Frazier Walker, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her home. She was saved when she was thirteen years old at Walker’s Missionary Baptist Church and was a long-time and faithful member of Bulls Gap Baptist Church.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Billie Frazier; brothers John and Bob Frazier; and sister Joan Slater.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bobby Walker; Daughters Sheila (Bryan) Dennis, and Beth (Chris) Banner; grandchildren Ashley (Mark) Winstead, Jesse (Keihanna) Dennis, Cody Banner, and Benjamin Banner; great grandchildren Hunter Worth, Noah Worth, Isla Grace Winstead, Brayden Dennis, and Landon Dennis; brother Wade Frazier; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks go out to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice in Morristown, Tennessee Cancer Specialists of Greeneville, and Dr. Richard Aasheim, Judy Riley and Barbara Ramsey for their care.
Mary Lou will lie in repose Wednesday, Sept. 6 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be at 7 pm, with Rev. Paul Winchester and Rev. Wade Frazier officiating. Interment will be 11 am Thursday in Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulls Gap.
