Mary Jo Winstead

Mary Jo Winstead, 84, of Morristown, passed away at her home Thursday, November 21, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was proceeded in death by her sons, Donald “Don”, Ronald “Scott”; mother and father, Ralph and Ethal Brooks; brother, Paul Brooks; sister-in-law, Jane Brooks; and brother-in-law, Larry Burchett.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eugene Winstead; sons, Bobby (Lisa), Chris (Dee); daughter, Kathy Winstead; daughter-in-law’s, Carol Winstead and Melissa Winstead of Orlando, Fl.; granddaughters, Katrina, Christina, Danielle, Ashley, Mallory, Autumn, Frankie, Lacey, and Emma; grandsons, Ryan, Michael, Chris “CJ”, Taylor, and Levi; 15 great grandkids; and sister, Dot Burchett.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7PM, with Rev. Rex Russell, Chaplin James Goins, and Rev. Robbie Linkous officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11AM, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
