Melissia J. "Lesa" (Booker) Wolfe

Melissia J. “Lesa” Wolfe, age 65, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 1, 2024, following a lingering illness.  Having placed her faith in Christ at a young age, she is now healed and whole, in the presence of The Lord.  “…Absent from the body, present with The Lord.” (2nd Corinthians 5:8b)

Lesa was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on October 10, 1958, and lived her entire life in the Lakeway area, most recently residing in Jefferson County. Her pleasant disposition and cheerful smile endeared her to her family and her many friends.

Lesa was preceded in death by her father, Mike Brewster Booker.  She is survived by her husband, David E. Wolfe, son, Eric Wolfe, grandson, Declan Eugene Wolfe, mother, Agnes June Booker-Wolfe, and brothers, Michael and Shane Booker, along with many other family members and friends.

Lesa was a member of Calvue Baptist Church, but attended Morningside Baptist Church in Morristown for many years.

The family will receive friends Monday June 3, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, 200 Jaybird Road in Morristown, from 5pm until 7pm, with a Funeral Service following at 7pm.  Rev. Ronald Bunch officiating.  The Entombment Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, at 11am, in the Hamblen Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
