Mildred "Midge" Charleen (McAnally) Robertson

Mildred Charleen “Midge” (McAnally) Robertson, 89, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family. She attended Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Russellville, TN and Liberty Hill Methodist Church in Morristown, TN. She retired from Foamex after over 20 years of service. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Mucie McAnally; siblings, Harold McAnally, Carl (Velma) McAnally, Mary Ruth (James) Gibson, James “JD” McAnally, Alma McAnally, and Richard (Mildred) McAnally; devoted partner, Alfred Barnard.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Portrum (Craig Stapleton); granddaughter, Jessica (Brian) Poole; grandsons, Logan and Eric Portrum; step-children, Steve (Kathy) Robertson and Carol (Dwayne) Sliger; nieces and nephews, Brenda (Terry) Hodge, Joyce (John) Gravanda, Gail (Todd) Gordon, Janet (the late Dwayne) Carpenter, Dwaine (Patsy) McAnally; and several cousins, great-nieces and nephews, many beloved friends, and past co-workers.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7PM, with Pastor Bobby Joe Hancock officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10AM, on Friday, July 12, 2024, in McAnally Family Cemetery in Mooresburg, TN.
