Mylissia Jane (Hensley) Mowl

Mylissia Jane Mowl, 48, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Tuesday, April 26, 2022.  She was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a blessing to so many people.  Her kindness and passion for helping others led her to become a nurse.  Mylissia worked as a Registered Nurse for several years in the Med Surge department at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Albert and Vivian Sue Hensley.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Timothy R. Mowl; children, Timothy R. (Debbie) Mowl, Jr.,  Joshua S. Mowl,  Kimberly Townsend, and Rachael (Brent) Carlyle; grandchildren, Nicole, Kenzie, Jenna, Laela, Molly, Chloe, Lonnie, Robert, Conner, Luke, Timothy III, Willow, and Emma; brother, Gary Albert (Bridgett) Hensley; sister, Georgie Ann and Misty Dawn (Thomas) Corbett; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00pm with Reverend Donnie Myers officiating.
