Myra Louise (Brewer) Murray

Louise Brewer Murray, 65, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully surrounded by her three children, brother, granddaughter and other close family and friends, in her home Friday, January 27, 2023, in Johnson City, TN.

Louise was born September 16, 1957, in Oak Ridge, TN.  She was a deeply devoted, loving and dedicated mother and grandmother.  Louise was a kind, loving, and generous woman and was loved by all who knew her.

She was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Morristown, TN and a child of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She leaves us for now but knowing we will be reunited again.  

She is survived by her three children; Rachel Brewer, Shannon (Gabrielle) Murray, Joshua Aaron (Summer Benson) Murray; grandchildren, Ethan  Wade Shockley and Olivia Harper-Anne Murray; brothers, Carl Fredrick Brewer and Glenn Franklin(Margie) Brewer; sisters, Maryann Prater and Barbara Kunkle; lifetime devoted friends, Dinah and J.C. Seals and Brian and Kathy Frankford.

Louise will be joyfully reunited with those preceding her passing; mother, Pauline Kuykendall; father, Gurney Carl Brewer; husband, Shannon Wade Murray; brothers, Robert Eugene Brewer. Charles Hardie Brewer and Homer Lee Brewer; sister, Colleen and sister-in-law, Tammy Brewer.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 Friday, February 3, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Reverend Charles Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
