Myra Rehorn Obituary

Friday morning, October 29, 2021, Nannie (Myra Goins Rehorn), made the final journey to her heavenly home. On this day, Nannie was reunited with her beloved husband, Harold Rehorn, Sr. and many other family and friends, including James and Euzella Ashley (best friends), Sherry (Nannie’s surrogate daughter) and Van Herald.  Her life was full of faith in her Lord and Savior, love for her family and friends, and a special love for her son Hal.

Nannie was a life-long sports fan (especially the Atlanta Braves), loved her annual beach trips with her family, cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved her church family at Green Street Church of Christ and Donelson Church of Christ. Before her retirement, she worked for Crystal Gayle many years, and loved Crystal’s family and work family as her own.

Nannie is survived by her son Hal (Becky), grandson Ryan (Ashley), granddaughter Carrie (John Overcash), grandson Colton (Jordyn), granddaughter Amanda (Joe Henderson), bonus granddaughter Ashley (Brian Shake), bonus grandson Robert Bell (Camryn), and bonus granddaughter Rachael (Akeen Anthony). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren Langley, Holden, Hudson, Harper, Campbell, Gideon, Rayce, Tanner, and Burton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jefferson Park at Dandridge for the tremendous love and care provided to Nannie. She dearly loved all of the staff at this facility for making her feel at home. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Jefferson Park at Dandridge, Franklin Cottage, 914 Industrial Park Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.

The family is planning a celebration of life to be held sometime in 2022.
