Nancy C. Johnson

Nancy C. Johnson, 64, went to be with the Lord peacefully, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, surrounded by family. She attended the Rock of Refuge Church. Nancy enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Sarah E. Collins; brothers, Rudolph, James, Donald, Bobby Joe, Eddie, and Jerry; sisters, Ann, Pat, Jeannie, Debra, and Rita; and great granddaughter, Emmy Jeanette Johnson.

Nancy is survived by her children, Roy (Angella) Johnson, Raven (Michael) McCarroll; she was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Jonee Johnson, Kaitlynn Johnson, Jacob (Britney) Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Jordan (Lacy) Hill, Elijah (Faith) McCarroll, and Felicity McCarroll; she was a faithful great grandmother to her great grandchildren, Levi and Laynee Lawlor, Baylor Johnson, Ivy Jane McCarroll; sister, Kathy Hicks; brother, Roger Collins; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members; as well as her former husband, Roy Johnson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those who provided medical care or showed their love during this difficult time.

Nancy loved her family dearly and dedicated her life to them. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love.

The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 PM, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM, with Paster Jeff Wells officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, on Monday, April 7, 2025, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
