Nora M. Jones

Nora M. Jones, 83, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 23, 2024. She was a lifelong member of Talley’s Chapel Methodist Church and loved to watch UT football.

Nora is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lyda Jones; and half-sister, Betty Ann Jones. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Hurst; grandchildren, Nick (Kasey) Hurst and Ethan (Tinsley) Hurst; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Hurst, Riley Collins, Bella and Geri Smith; brother, Douglas (Pansy) Jones; sister, Charlotte (Craig) Carey; and niece, Katie Jones.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to LifeCare Center of Morristown and especially Austin and Sara at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral Service will follow at 7PM, with Lay Minister Ron Stroud officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
