Opal Virginia Hayes Davis

Opal Virginia Hayes Davis, 88, of Morristown, formerly of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her home. She was a dedicated and hard worker throughout her life.  She enjoyed flowers, caring for her dogs, and spending time with her family. 

Opal was preceded in death by her husband, of 35 years, Wayne Ratliff; parents Arnold and Alice Hayes; one brother; five sisters; and grandson, Andy Davis.

Survivors include her children, Debbie McCamey and Ricky Davis; grandchildren, Chris and Renee’; four great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially thank, Dr. Bonnie Burnette-Vick, Amedisys Home Health and their staff, and caregivers Patty Shelton, Mary Greene, and Barbara Henson.

Opal’s body will lie in state 12:00-2:00 pm Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm, in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend Fred Aguilar officiating.
