Oscar Lee Roberts

Oscar Lee Roberts, 86, of Russellville, passed away May 17, 2021.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He retired from NCR after 26 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William O. Roberts and Maude Kitts Roberts; sisters, Virgie Brown, Gracie Singleton and Georgie Hazelwood, Ethel Morelock, Margaret Moore; brothers, Amos “Greasy” Roberts, Charlie Roberts, Jim Roberts, Jess Roberts, and Bill Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlsie Roberts; son, Ronnie “Fireball” Roberts; grandson, Nicholas (Tina) Roberts and great-granddaughters, Braylee and Brianna Beckner, Hailey Gulley and Addysen Hoffman.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 19, 2021from 5:00 – 7:00 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00 with Reverends George McCoy and Frank Long officiating.  Military graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, May 20, 2021in Historic Bethesda Cemetery with Reverend Jason Lemka and  Reverend Billy Westmoreland officiating.
