Pamela Joy (Leabow) Wheatley

Pamela Joy Wheatley, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Mon., April 17, 2023, at the Morristown Hamblen Hospital.  The lives of many people have been touched by her love and kindness, and she will be sorely missed by her family, whom she nurtured and loved until the very end.  She was preceded in death by parents, William and Minnie Hill Leabow; husband, George L. Wheatley; sister, Libby Davis; and daughter-in-law, Tryna Wheatley. 

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Jaime Wheatley and Chris and Rebecca Wheatley; grandchildren, Willow and Wyatt Wheatley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glennis Sue and James “Ed” Davis, Gail and Ken Mays, Sharon and Gary Chesney, Patty and David Epps, Vickie and Larry Seals, and Greg Davis; step-granddaughter and step-grandson-in-law, Faith and Dylan Gillispie, step-granddaughter, Kayla Mancuso; great-grandchild, Ryleigh Gillispie; and many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly, as well as, a host of good friends. 

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm, Sat., April 29, 2023, at Allen’s Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following.  The Rev. Larry Seals will be officiating.  Graveside services will immediately follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Morristown.
