Patsy B. Long

Patsy B. Long, 73, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, surround by her family. She loved to watch her grandsons race and was one of their biggest supporters. Patsy loved to cook, and some might say her fried potatoes were the best they’ve ever had. She attended Landmark Church.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Doug Long; parents, Harvey and Velma Bunch; grandparents, Herman and Hattie Wice; and sister, Joyce Barnard.

Patsy is survived by her sons, Jason and Bubba Long; grandsons, Donovan (Anna) Long and Colby (Gia) Long; sisters, Vickey Allen, Judy McDaniel, Marlene Cutshaw, and Darlene Stanton; furry companion, Girlfriend; as well as many other family members.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their great care. 

Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 PM, on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM, with Rev. Brian Carpenter. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Creech’s Chapel Cemetery.
