Peggy Jane (Boyd) Bewley

Peggy Jane Boyd Bewley, 78, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 30, 2021.  She was a life-time member of Robertson Creek Baptist Church, she retired from Magnavox after over thirty years of service and was a member of the Eastern Star.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 56 years, Donald Duane Bewley; parents, Charlie and Bobbie Boyd; brothers, Miller Boyd and Raymond Boyd; and niece, Delores Marsh.

Peggy is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and two fur babies, Roho and Maxie.  

The family would especially like to thank Peggy’s caregivers, Linda Wilder and Cathy Bowlin, Amedisys Home Health of Rogersville, Fresenius Kidney Care of Morristown, and her dear neighbors for all their care and support.  

The family will receive friends from noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2PM with Reverend Jonathan Bewley officiating.  Interment will be 10AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
