Quentin Herron

Quentin Herron, age 88, of Morristown TN, went home to be with the Lord at 2 am Wednesday, June 21, 2023.  He was born February 20, 1935, in Hancock County, TN.  In 1956, he married Sally Ann Lawson from Hawkins County, TN.  A man of faith, Quentin was a 58-year member of Power House Baptist Church and an ordained deacon of the church for 55 years.  He became a carpenter by trade and started his own business, Quentin Herron Builders.  During his time owning the business, Quentin built many homes in Morristown and surrounding counties.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Hiram and Sarah Herron.  Quentin is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sally Herron; children Jerry (Jenny) Herron, Faye Williams, and Stan Quentin (Lisa) Herron; grandchildren Clint (Candie) Williams and Christian (Claire) Herron; great-grandchildren Charcy and Claudia Williams; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Claude Smith.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Sunday, June 25, 2023, in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be 2 pm Monday at Power House Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Tanner, Rev. Dale Harris, and Rev. Terry Winstead officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
