Rick Lindsey

Rick Lindsey, 62, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2024, after a brief illness. He retired from Walmart as an optician after 25 years of service. He loved woodworking, enjoyed making ribbon boxes and wood burnt pictures of Jesus, and loved customizing and taking his jeep out. He also enjoyed swinging on his front porch. Rick was passionate about rescuing cats and giving them a better home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruble and Essie Mae Lindsey and sister, Judy Foose.

Rick is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wendy (Pratt) Lindsey, and daughter, Dr. Samantha (Nathan) Hossler of Bowling Green, OH.       

The family will receive friends from 5–7PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.
