Rita Faye Williams

Rita Faye Williams, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Ft. Sanders hospital. She was a lifelong servant of the Lord and attended Landmark Church of God. Rita worked at Mountain View in Dandridge for over 20 years. She lovingly helped raise several of her nieces and nephews. She loved reading her Bible, enjoyed being involved with in the church, and being with her church family and friends.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Leola Williams; sisters, Ruby Case and Betty Crum; and brothers, Bill Williams, Johnny R. Williams, and Jimmy Carroll Williams.

She is survived by her brothers, George Williams of Knoxville, and Joe (Teri) Williams of Cosby; sister, Dorothy Martin of Morristown; sister-in-law, Marie Williams of Morristown; several beloved nieces and nephews, Steve Williams, Deb Jones, Tammy Martin Wells, Jimmy Carroll (Jessica Genesis) Williams, Jr., Savannah Williams, Alexis "Lexi" Williams, Susan Brewer Harris, Amy Koenig, Jason Case, Travis Case, Ashley, Steven, Declan, Ferra, and Evie Latchford, James Claiborne, Courtney Reese, Kristy (John) Wiggins, Terry Williams Latchford; special friend, Jug; and best friends, Rose Holt, Helen Hall, Sharon Young.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Pratt officiating.
