Robert Capshaw Obituary

Robert Gary Capshaw, (b. 03/31/1953), age 65, of White Pine, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2018 at his home. He was a restauranteur and owned the Catawba Restaurant in White Pine for many years. He was also an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Gary Capshaw II of Morristown and his parents, Hobert and Josie Capshaw of White Pine.

He is survived by daughters, Melissa (Chris) Hill and Kimberly (Timmy) Dyke. Sister, Pam Capshaw of White Pine. Grandsons, Cameron and Cooper Hill. Granddaughters, Kaylee and Kara Dyke. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and life-long friends.

He was a gentle, kind-hearted man who was loved by all who knew him. He never met an animal that didn’t love him and he always took in any dog or cat that came his way.

A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held Saturday, February 16that Morristown Church of Christ.
