Robert "Bob" Lloyd Young

Robert (Bob) Lloyd Young, 89, went to his heavenly home Monday, July 15, 2024. He loved the Lord and his church, Trinity Baptist.  Bob was preceded in death by his father, Sam Walker Young and mother, Agnes Jane Young; brother, Sammie Young; sister, Billie Sue Sutherland; and stepson, Sonny Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Thelma Young; stepdaughter, Deborah Thompson; sister, Betsy Rose Michal and brother, Bill Fred Young; daughter-in-law, Kathy Cook; 5 grandsons, 6 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, the family request in memory of Bob, donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, 708 South Old Sevierville Pike, Seymour, TN. 37865.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery with Reverend Dannie Bell officiating.
