Ronald L. "George" Hipshere

Ronald L. “George” Hipshere, 63, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home in Morristown.  He was retired from Atmos Energy after 30 years of service.  He was an Eagle Scout with Noe’s Chapel Troop 290.  George  loved the outdoors; especially hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Ruth Hipshere and the love of his life, Zelma Gibson; grandparents, Lee and Maude Hipshere.

Survivors include special cousins, Billy Seals and Eddie (Wanda) Seals, as well as several other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of America; Great Smoky Mountain Council; 1333 Old Weisgarber Road; Knoxville, Tn.  37909.

Graveside services are planned for 10:30am Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend Tom Stanton officiating.  Attendees are asked to wear facial coverings and observe social distancing.
