Ronnie Lee “Pappy” Davis, 74, went to be with the Lord and his wife Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. Ronnie was a member of Peace Freewill Baptist Church. He was a carefree and fun-loving person who enjoyed life and will be greatly missed.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary June and his parents, George “Buzz” and Gladys Davis.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie (Robin) Davis, II; grandchildren, Ashley (Jesse Stone) Davis, Dakoda (Jessa) Davis; great-grandchildren, Dominik, Gage, Jesse, James, Austin and David; brother, Jimmie (Jennifer) Davis, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Peace Freewill Baptist Church prior to the funeral service at 7:00 pm. Pastors Bill Houk and Sonny Thomas will officiate the service. Military graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2024, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
