Rosa Gail Drinnon, age 60, from Morristown, TN, passed away at fort sanders on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, due to a short battle with cancer, with her loved ones by her side.

She is survived by her Daughter and son-in-law, Cheyenne and Cody Hunter; Grandchildren, Aden, Brooklyn, Honor, and Nova; her fur baby, Shasta; sisters-in-law, Allison Drinnon and Linda Drinnon; step sisters, Amanda Walker and Jessica Williams; nephews, Bobby Joe (Jessica) Drinnon, and Kevin (Ashley) Drinnon; nieces, Hailey and Madison Walker, Ali Nibley, and Tasha Hazelwood; and a bunch of great nieces and nephews.
Rosa was a graduate from Morristown East and worked many diligent jobs over the years. You couldn’t find a better or more loving person than Rosa. She always made sure to tell you that she loved you. She had only one child but ended up with a ton of kids and grandkids that called her Mom and Mamaw. She was the brightest light in the room, and her hugs would make every worry and fear disappear. She was a devout Christian and would spread God’s word every chance she got. She was a friend to everyone and a lifelong music lover. She made so many lifelong friends that became family by sharing her passion of music. But above all, she was a devout mother and grandmother. She loved nothing more in life than her daughter and grandbabies. Rosa will be missed by all that knew her. To know her was to know pure love.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 PM, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Veteran's Pavilion in Cherokee Park: 3075 Floyd Hall Drive, Morristown, TN 37814.
“I LOVE YOU EVERYBODY!!!”
