Rowena Carol Weston

Rowena Carol Weston, age 73, of Whitesburg, formerly from Saint Clair, went on to be with the Lord, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, after a brief illness. She was a member of Walkers Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, watching westerns and game shows, and going to auctions with her beloved husband, Joe, when he was still living. Her greatest joy in life was spending her days with her little dog, Casey, who she loved very much!

Rowena was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Joe Weston. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Hugh G. and Thelma Yount, grandparents, Harvey and Lucretia Yount, and Harrison and Mayme Greene, and special brother-in-law, Thomas Lee Howard. 

Rowena is survived by her sister, Regena Howard, nephew, Michael (Hughie) Howard, and wife, Tonya, niece, LeAnn Felknor, and husband, Jason, niece, Heather McBee, great-nieces, Kimber McDaniel, Tasha Carmack, Krista Felknor, and Katie Felknor, and great-nephew, Collynn McBee. She also had several great-great nieces, Kandi and Kacee Carmack, Copeland McDaniel, and Loyal Felknor. 

The family will have a brief visitation 12 noon Tuesday, May 3, at Allen Funeral Home.  Graveside services conducted by Rev. Dannie Bell will follow at 1 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
