Shelby Dawn Lindsey

Shelby Dawn Lindsey, age 47, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2025, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Born December 8, 1977, in Fredericksburg,   Virginia, Shelby dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was known for her feisty spirit, boundless personality, and a deep love for her husband, family, and close friends. Shelby found joy in working with her hands and expressing her creativity through art and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leroy and Hazel Williams Lindsey.  Shelby is survived by her devoted husband, James K. Everidge; her son, Will Robinson; sisters, Fay (Mark) Nunnaly and Katie Carney; brothers Mike Lindsey and Joe Lindsey; father-and mother-in-law, Dennis and Rose Everidge; and cherished nieces and nephews T. J. Lindsey,  Thomas Lindsey, Brian Lindsey, Tabitha Lindsey, Christopher Nunnaly, and Christina Nunnaly.  

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Historic Bethesda Church and Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Allen Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
