Sloane W. “Bill” Silver, 52, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home in Morristown. He is in the arms of Jesus and has been made whole after suffering with epilepsy throughout his life. Bill was a member of United Christian Outreach Church. He had a passion for singing gospel music and studying the word of God. He loved going to church with his friends and family. He was also a lifelong fan of the University of Alabama.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Wayne and Phyllis Silver and brother, Steve Silver.
He is survived by his siblings, Suzanne (Darrell) Massey, Sam (Amanda) Silver, and Janet (Troy) Rose; several nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the church family at United Christian Outreach Church and the staff of Allen Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Christian Outreach Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 2PM - 3:30PM, at United Christian Outreach Church. A celebration of life will follow the visitation from 3:30PM-4PM, with Pastor Kenneth Peacock officiating.
