Susanne Felecia Haun Brannan, age 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, early Friday morning, the 28th day of February 2025.
Susanne was respectfully known to all her friends and family, in the Russellville area, as “Susanna” and was called “Mrs. B.” to many of her special ed students and colleagues while employed by the Hamblen County Board of Education for 18 years.
In the early years she helped her parents, Mama and Papa Haun, tend to the first Haun’s Market, just across the bridge. Later, she continued to help her parents run Phillips 66 gas station Haun’s Market Restaurant and Catering. She drove a catering truck numerous miles throughout the East Industrial Park to the many businesses to supply the many customers with Mama Haun’s breakfast and dinner foods.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Thomas Eugene Haun, Sr. and Mrs. Felezitaus Anne Winkler Haun.
She is survived by a loving husband of over 33 years, James (Jim) Henry Brannan; three fur babies, Sassy, Otis, and Fluffy; two brothers, Tommy and Steven (Kathy) Haun; several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; several cousins; a special caregiver (All Care), Teresa Cupp; a devoted and special niece, Tracy Brannan Roach.
Mrs. Susanne was a member of Highland Baptist Church and Russellville Baptist Church. She was also a Graduate of Morristown East High School.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM, on Friday, March 7, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral Service will follow at 7 PM, with Rev. Terry Bunch and Rev. Donnie Bible officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Hamblen Memory Gardens and Mausoleum, in the Masonic Gardens beside of her dad.
