Terry Wayne Lawson

Terry Wayne Lawson, 55, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his home.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Evelyn Lybrand and Sturm and Helen Lawson; and stepfather, Steve Sutton.  

He is survived by his mother, Elaine Sutton; father, Morris Lawson; daughters, Kayla Lawson, and Terrie Linn Lawson; granddaughter, Nora Linn Lawson; brother Scotty Lawson; stepsister, Betty Ann Ball; several aunts, uncles, and extended family.  

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM, with Revs. David Hawkins and David Williams officiating.  Interment and graveside services will follow the funeral services in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
