Timothy Drinnon Obituary

Timothy Dean “Pappy” Drinnon, 59, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 9, 2021.  He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Navy where he served as a submariner.  He was also a truck driver and worked for Old Dominion for over 20 years.  He was a brilliant artist and a loving family man.  Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ruby Drinnon, brother, Stanley “Butch” Drinnon, and his beloved husky, Zoro.

Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Allison Drinnon; brother, Lester Drinnon; sister, Rosa Drinnon; special niece, Cheyenne (Cody) Hunter; grandchildren, Joey, Sophie, Aden, Tori, Brooklyn, Honor, Laylah, Sylis, and Nova; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

The family would especially like to thank all of their dear friends and loved ones for their prayers and overwhelming support during this difficult time.  

The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Military Honors and a Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 7 PM with Reverend Alex Smyth officiating.  

Flowers are welcomed or a memorial donation can be made to any veterans’ organization.
