Timothy Charles Jarnagin returned to his Father’s arms Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 60 years old.
He was born November 10th, 1964, to Charles & Linda Jarnagin. He spent his early years growing up in Bean Station attending Noeton Baptist Church where he was saved at an early age. He moved to Morristown during his middle school years where he met his future high school sweetheart and wife Andrea Cody. They married at 16 and welcomed a daughter their first year of marriage. God granted them 44 years together against all odds. Tim had different careers over the years beginning with becoming a printer at Hayter Printing then moving the family to Georgia and running a press there for 7 years. They returned to Morristown in 1993 and took over one of the locations of his in-laws’ restaurants The Pizza Cottage which he and Andrea ran for 11 years. His passion though was computers which he converted into a business first with Leap-Off Internet then Computer Solutions Computers. His greatest love though was studying our Father’s word and sharing it with anyone who he spoke to. His hope was for everyone to walk with Christ, as he did, and be prepared for eternity. Tim had battled heart failure for 28 years and was prepared to go home.
He is going to missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Jarnagin; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda & Jason Rickard; granddaughters, Gracie, Molly & Sophie Pressley; mother, Linda & Joe Phillips; father, Charles & Sheila Jarnagin; sisters, Lisa & Tim Cook and Jennifer & Allen Ratliff; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7PM, with Pastor Jim Harvey and Deacon Jim Prosak officiating. Interment will be held 11AM, Thursday, February 27, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
