Todd E. Giles, 60, of Morristown, passed away April 5, 2024, while in the line of duty as a paramedic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Carol Giles; father-in-law, Bill Fulmer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Giles; daughter, Alex Giles; sons, Chris (Stephanie Harville) Giles and Lucas (Jennifer Lackey) Giles; grandchildren, BentLee Giles, LunDynn Giles and LeLand Payne; brother Scott Giles sister-in-law Kendra (Bill) Langford; nephew, Cody Giles; nieces, Elizabeth Langford and Coraline Langford; mother-in-law, Debbie Fulmer; longtime friend and EMS partner, Bobby Johnson.
Todd was a member of the Morristown Rescue Squad since he was 16. He served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army, and joined Morristown-Hamblen EMS in 1988, where he served the community until his passing. He taught many classes over the years at local businesses and Walters State Community College and was also a Medical Death Investigator for Hamblen County since 2015.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the first responders and medical professionals who were by Todd’s side on the day he passed, along with all those he worked with over the years.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:30pm in the Morristown-Hamblen High School East Auditorium.
