Velda Jeanette (Crittenden) Davis

Velda Jeanette Davis, age 82, of Mohawk, passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a faithful member of Mountain Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Davis; son, Charles David Davis; grandson, Marshall Corey Knight; parents, Horace and Freddie Crittenden; as well as several brothers and sisters.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Carol (Dirk) Anderson, Christina (Chris) Knight, Cathy (David) Loveday; grandchildren, Natashia Jackson, Clarissa Greene, and Alan Anderson; great grandchildren, Kaelyn and Brayden Blanton, Caleb and Carly Greene; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care of Greeneville and Shelly Knight.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery of Mohawk, with Rev. Scott Noe officiating.
